Morio Asaka (浅香 守生 Asaka Morio) is the director of the Nana anime. He works for the anime company, Madhouse.

His notable works include, Cardcaptor Sakura, Galaxy Angel, Gunslinger Girl, Last Order: Final Fantasy VII, and Chihayafuru.

Early life[]

Morio Asaka was born on March 11, 1967 in the Hyōgo Prefecture of Japan. He previously attended Osaka Designers' College.

Career[]

Asaka received his first credit in anime as an assistant director on Junk Boy in 1987. He went on to work on storyboards and episode direction, before making his anime series directorial debut with the Cardcaptor Sakura in 1998.

His latest work is My Love Story!!.
