Yuta Hiraoka (平岡祐太 Hiraoka Yūta, born September 1, 1984) is a Japanese drama and film actor. He won the 'Best Newcomer' prize at the Japan Academy Prize in 2005 for his film debut in Swing Girls.

He portrayed Shoji Endo in the first Nana film.

Biography

Early life

Hiraoka was born on September 1, 1984 in Hiroshima, Japan. He went to a private high school before dropping out, and later graduating from a different school. He also belonged to the football team in school.

Career

He began acting in television dramas in 2003 with Lion Sensei and Gokusen SP. Hiraoka also won the award of 'Best Newcomer' at the Japan Academy for his film debut, Swing Girls in 2005.
